Book Addict Review: How To Heal A Grieving Heart

I have been a long time fan of both Doreen Virtue and James Van Praagh. That is what attracted me to this book. I haven’t lost anyone recently, but then we all lose people we love as we move through this thing called life. It’s just the way things go.

Doreen and James came together, with their amazing knowledge of life, death and the afterlife, to create this wonderful little book that is meant to help bring us through the grieving process when we have lost someone near and dear to our hearts.

The first thing that stands out about this book is the beautiful nature pictures that grace each page. You can’t help but feel peace when you flip page to page. The next thing I noticed was the most delightful little attached ribbon bookmark, graced with butterflies. It gives the book some whimsy, over it’s somewhat sad tone. However, there is nothing sad inside.

This book is meant to put a smile on our faces and a glimmer in our eyes as we reflect on those that have gone before us. Page by page are little stories that are healing messages for both our hearts and minds.

I love this little book. It is full of faith, hope, love and the voice of God. I plan to keep it on hand until I am in need of it, or until someone else I care about needs it more than me. I think it is a wonderful gift idea for anyone in your life that suffers loss.

You too can own this book. Find it at AmazonB&NHay House and Indigo.
