Revel 9, The Razorblade Diaries – CD Review

The Cover – I was sucked in by the darkness of this cover. Very zombie-esque, bloody and nightmarish. You would think a cover like this would mean the music within was dark and edgy. Nope.

The Music – Rock. Catchy. The press release accompanying this album tells me that this music within is telling a tale about a guy meeting the love of his live. Not very rock n’ roll, if you ask me.

My Honest Opinion – Well, I kind of already gave it, but there’s more. I hated the first song, “San Jose,” it was just a bit annoying. In the hopes I’d like the rest better, I skipped past it and found that although the rest of the album was alright I found it very boring.
