ShopRadioCast to Release Hum’s ‘You’d Prefer An Astronaut’ on Vinyl

humOn March 4th, ShopRadioCast will release on vinyl, You’d Prefer an Astronaut, the third studio album from influential Champaign, Illinois post-hardcore band HUM. It was first released on April 11, 1995 by RCA Records as their major label debut. Featuring the 90’s alt-rock radio hit “Stars,” the LP went on to inspire a generation of musicians across multiple genres, including Chino Moreno of Deftones, who in an interview, cited the record as being a “big part of where [Deftones] get [their] influence from, tone-wise.”
