Having set himself the task of playing all of the instruments on his 2009 debut, Clangour, Sin Fang wanted to move closer to the sound of a live band for his album and recruited a number of his friends from Mum, Amiina and Seabear to record Summer Echoes in his own studio, as well as Sigur Ros’ Sundlaugin Studio.
